Things at CBS News seem to be getting worse by the day under the pathetic leadership of Barry Weiss. According to media critic and journalist Oliver Darcy, CBS News has officially hit a brand new rock bottom with their ratings. Oliver Darcy put it this way. They are collapsing on every front. CBS Evening News has hit historic low ratings. They struggle now to get 4 million viewers on the Evening News, which would have been unthinkable even a year ago. Now, part of the issue, of course, is that Barry Weiss went in got rid of a lot of the smart people. She also tried to force her conservative viewpoints into the programming, which as we all know, thanks to Scott P and others, is what led to the mass exodus from 60 Minutes. 60 Minutes has now lost four of their hosts, their executive producer, and their executive director. Basically, all the people who knew what they were doing, the people with integrity, have left that show. Gail King's morning show is now rock bottom in the ratings. CBS Evening News, of course, led by her ma handpicked MAGA acolyte is in the toilet. Everything that Barry Weiss has touched at CBS is dying. I mean, she effectively is the grim reaper of broadcast news. And as I've said repeatedly, and I think it bears repeating again, uh none of this is surprising. And for the record, it's not just because, oh, she moved it all to the right. Yes, that's costing them. But the real problem is that she's not smart. She has no broadcast experience. She has a tiny bit of print experience and online uh uh posting experience.

That's it. I have more broadcast experience both in uh by the way radio, internet broadcasting and cable broadcasting than she has. Even today, I still have more experience in that producing radio shows, TV shows, and internet shows. But I would still think that I am grotesqually unqualified to run CBS News. Yet, she jumped at the opportunity. Why not me, right? She wasn't picked because she's talented. She was picked because the new owners of CBS, the Ellison family, hardcore Trump supporters, wanted to destroy CBS News. She was just too dumb to know that she is the useful idiot. She is effectively the sledgehammer that they use to go in there and destroy CBS news. But she's sitting there thinking, "Oh, I've been given this great opportunity and I'm going to use it and make everything wonderful." They don't want you to. They want her to do exactly what she has done. Destroy everything, burn it all down, and then at the end of the day, they will fire her and blame her for all of the problems. And then they'll try to rebuild it, right? But they're going to rebuild it in their image. She is going to take the fall for this, as she should, but again, she's not bright enough to understand that these are all the things about to happen to her. CBS posted or CBS News, I should say, posted its worst May ever. Ever. June, we're still waiting for the final numbers to come in, is going to be even worse. Her days are numbered. She will be fired. And at that point, she'll be so toxic, she'll probably never get a job in broadcast media ever again.
