YouTube Description
as posted by the channelFormer Olympian Ryan Wedding, who sat on the FBI’s most wanted list since March of 2025, was apprehended in Mexico, officials announced on Friday. Law enforcement officials alleged Wedding, who competed for Team Canada in the 2002 Winter Olympics, was the ringleader of a transnational drug trafficking operation that shipped approximately 60 tons of cocaine a year from Colombia through Mexico, California, and Canada. Officials further claimed that he also played a part in orchestrating the murders of multiple people – including a government witness. FBI Director Kash Patel said Wedding “went from Olympic snowboarder to the largest narco-trafficker in modern times.” Wedding is currently in U.S. custody and faces charges related to drug trafficking, money laundering, murder, and witness tampering. Attorney Chris Melcher joins “Forbes True Crime” to discuss.
