Andrew Hayes was found guilty of Harris’ murder in 2010 and has been in jail ever since. But, there have been serious concerns on how this case was handled, starting from when law enforcement initially arrived on the scene almost two decades ago. Stephanie Tinsley partnered with the Tennessee Innocence Project and launched her own investigation into the case. She says her podcast was the catalyst for a development that completely changed the trajectory of this story – and in mid-January, Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy announced not only was Andrew Hayes murder wrongfully convicted, charges have been filed against someone else they think is responsible. Stephanie Tinsley joined “Forbes True Crime” to talk about what she found in her investigation for her podcast, “Everything They Missed,” as well as the developments in the case.
