A Texas native, she'd been attending Austin's tech and music festival South By Southwest since her 18th birthday and had gotten hip to managing the nightlife, joining Google groups, tracking keywords and befriending promoters to ensure she'd registered for the best of thousands of parties held during the two week affair.
Her friends, however, hadn't quite gotten a hang of it, relying on the then 22-year-old to keep them in the know. The breakthrough moment? Sinski's realization that she could turn her preparedness to profit by charging her network to get their names on the countless SXSW guest lists that can leave even the most practiced attendee's head spinning.
