In May 2020, it secured $14 million in funding led by Andreessen Horowitz. As Covid spread over the summer, demand for remote workers soared. In September, Deel raised another $30 million, and its valuation more than tripled in four months, says Bouaziz, surpassing $200 million.
Today, Deel announced that they're rolling out a global payments system to make payroll easier for companies who manage remote teams around the world. In this video, cofounder Alex Bouaziz discusses the new product and the future of work with Forbes' Diane Brady.
