With a genre-spanning body of work and 45 years as actress and producer, Jamie Lee Curtis won her first Academy Award in 2023 at 64. Curtis has revisited her 1978 breakthrough role in the "Halloween" franchise seven times over 40 years and, in 2023, announced she will remake "Freaky Friday"—47 years after the original and two decades after starring in its first remake. Her accolades include a BAFTA, two Golden Globes, and nominations for an Emmy and a Grammy. At 62, she received the Venice International Film Festival's Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement.

One of the few celebrity writers to win over both critics and readers, she has published 13 children's books since 1993. In August 2020, she launched My Hand In Yours, a gift-product company whose entire proceeds go to the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough sat down with Curtis to talk about her life, career, and what's coming next.
