17:55Now PlayingThe challenge for electric-vehicle maker Endera is not finding new customers, it's building fast enough to satisfy demand. Founder John Walsh has dozens of contracts for his all-electric vans, jitneys and delivery trucks. "I believe that the clean energy movement was catalyzed by the pandemic," he says. "Capital markets have shifted, and clean energy is becoming economically viable." Aside from having the company's name on the grille, Endera's vehicles look nearly indistinguishable from standard-issue gas guzzlers on the road today. And that's the point: to provide customers a seamless transition to electrified transportation.
In addition to Walsh landing a spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2022, Endera debuted on the Forbes list of America's Best Startup Employers in 2023.
