Dr. Cafarella earned his Ph.D. from the University of Washington, Seattle, in 2009, working under the guidance of advisors Oren Etzioni and Dan Suciu. Prior to joining MIT, he served as a professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan from 2009 to 2020.
