Corporate Governance VP Shares Concerns Over Current DEI Regressions

Maureen O’Brien is a Senior Vice President in Segal Marco Advisors’ Chicago office. Ms. O’Brien has extensive experience in shareholder advocacy and specializes in engaging companies on behalf of investors.

Prior to joining Segal Marco Advisors, Ms. O’Brien was Head of Engagement at Conflict Risk Network, where she held dialogues with companies operating in Sudan and other conflict zones. She also served as Research Director at the Center for Political Accountability, a non-profit, non-partisan organization, where she promoted transparency in corporate political spending. Ms. O’Brien co-founded LINC Negotiations, a Washington, D.C.-based consultancy that provided training in negotiation and mediation.
