The Long Wheelbase model is available with two different powertrains, a six-cylinder with 395 horsepower and a V8 that delivers 523 horsepower. For even greater performance, there is a more powerful SV edition, which starts at $238,000. While the base SE model starts at $117,000, this test model with the V8 engine is priced at approximately $138,000. This is a luxury SUV built for adventure, with the ability to ford up to three feet of water and climb sheer rock faces.
The interior of the Long Wheelbase model is a masterclass in minimalist elegance. It features beautiful leather upholstery, soft-touch fabrics, a Meridian sound system, and a panoramic sunroof that makes the cabin feel open and airy. The entire experience is centered on "push-button everything", from the convenient split liftgate that doubles as a tailgate to the push-button-controlled seats that allow for easy access to the third row, even with a child seat installed. Most of the vehicle's functions are controlled via a central touchscreen, including a shortcut menu for off-road modes like gravel, sand, and mud. The elegant center console has very few buttons, with hidden storage compartments for a clean, uncluttered look. Range Rover's philosophy is that true luxury is about the experience as much as it is the destination, positioning this vehicle for exploration and adventure without sacrificing an ounce of comfort or elegance.
