Meg Brennan has the extraordinary talent of beatboxing and playing the flute at the same time. She is also the flute instructor at the MSU Community Music School in Detroit.
Michigan State University is hosting a summer music camp for young musicians in Detroit called the "Aspiring Musicians Program" (AMP).
AMP is held at the MSU Detroit Center. It's designed for musicians ages 9 to 17, with at least one year of experience on winds, brass, strings, percussion, piano or guitar.
Campers will learn songwriting, jazz improvisation, sight-reading, ear-training, and more.
Tuition for the camp is $200 and financial aid is available by application
