1:04:07Now PlayingA man in a stolen white pickup truck managed to elude police after a high-speed chase from McKinney to Dallas Tuesday afternoon.
Officers from several different police departments are still searching for the suspect in the area around the Lakeside at Northpark apartment complex, located south of Walnut Hill Lane near Highway 75 in Dallas.
The McKinney Police Department said officers began chasing him around 12:30 p.m. He was in a white pickup truck that was reported stolen out of Plano.
The suspect drove through parts of Frisco and McKinney before heading south on Hwy. 75 into Dallas. He went west on the LBJ Freeway and then exited the highway.
There were reports of several crashes as he jumped medians, drove the wrong way and weaved in and out of the streets of Dallas.
The suspect finally ditched the truck in a parking garage near Dave and Busters off Hwy. 75. Video from SKY 4 showed him running through the nearby apartment complex and jump several fences to get away.
