27:41Now PlayingA dry line approached the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and now looks to be retreating westward. Temperatures went from 94 back down to 90 degrees at DFW Airport between 1 and 2pm.
So, the odds are there will be no century mark for DFW today as expected. The 95-degree record high for this date may not even fall. Areas west of the metroplex could still see temps near or at 100.
Tonight, temperatures will still be warm with lows in the low 70s. Humidity will increase again overnight, making the air feel thick and sticky.
