TRUMP says: "The strength of the restrictions we're applying depends on the severity of the threat posed."
THE PRESIDENT IS ALSO PLACING PARTIAL TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS ON SEVEN OTHER COUNTRIES -- INCLUDING CUBA AND VENEZUELA.
TRUMP says: "The list is subject to revision based on whether material improvements are made, and likewise new countries can be added as threats emerge around the world."

TRUMP says: "The large scale presence of terrorists, failure to cooperate on visa security, inability to verify travelers identities, inadequate record keeping of criminal histories, and persistently high rates of illegal visa overstays and other things."

...IN WHICH CITIZENS FROM PREDOMINANTLY MUSLIM COUNTRIES WERE BARRED ENTRY.

...THE SUPREME COURT UPHELD A VERSION OF THAT BAN BACK IN 20-18.
TRUMP says: "They were a key part of preventing major foreign terror attacks on American soil."
THIS NEW BAN IS ALSO EXPECTED TO FACE LEGAL PUSHBACK.
THE RESTRICTIONS ARE SET TO GO INTO EFFECT ON MONDAY, JUNE NINTH.
