Severe storms brought up to 15 inches of rain in some areas, causing major flooding along the Guadalupe River. People who live near the river are being told to head to higher ground. The Kerr County Sheriff's Office has also been responding to rescue calls and confirmed that some people have died. A Fourth of July event on the river has been cancelled.
