2:36:21Now PlayingSeptember 3rd – there will be a non-partisan “Stand With Survivors” rally in solidarity with those exploited by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. A number of Epstein/Maxwell survivors will be speaking, alongside leaders in the anti-exploitation movement.
The rally is hosted by World Without Exploitation – which is America’s largest anti-trafficking coalition. Over the last decade, WorldWE has united hundreds of diverse partners all across the country to change laws, policies and perspectives when it comes to human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation.
“The voices of survivors have been omitted from the conversation for far too long,” said Lauren Hersh, National Director of World Without Exploitation. “It’s time for that to change. This is the moment to stand united to ensure that those who’ve been exploited and abused are heard loud and clear”
“For years, no one was listening to what we had to say, let alone caring,” said Liz Stein, an Epstein-Maxwell survivor and policy expert. “So it’s heartening so many are coming together to make sure the voices of victims and survivors are silenced no more. Those of us impacted directly by the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell deserve justice and for the world to know our story.”
“Now is the time for survivors – and all who support their courageous journey and applaud their brave voices – to stand up,” said Sigrid McCawley, Managing Partner, Boies Schiller Flexner and leading victims’ rights attorney. “Together, we are meeting this moment. This chorus of unified voices sends a powerful message to our country and the world that survivors will not be erased or marginalized. Guided by dignity, truth and accountability, justice must be served by unmasking the information that too many have tried to hide.”
Additional rally hosts include: Safe Exit Initiatives, Sanctuary For Families, Coalition Against Trafficking In Women, PACT, Joyful Heart Foundation, Polaris and the Sex Trade Survivor Caucus.
