The festival, known as Jambaloo, will feature more than a dozen local artists performing at various venues across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Originally founded as a community initiative, the event has grown into a significant showcase for regional talent.
Corey Pond, the co-founder of Jambaloo, said the festival remains free to the public with the primary goal of supporting and promoting local musicians.
The "extravaganza" officially kicks off next weekend, following a successful inaugural year that focused on increasing visibility for North Texas artists.
