More than two dozen members of the women's team, including team captains, are suing the U.S. Soccer Federation over pay disparity based on gender discrimination.
WNBA players have their own fight. They're not looking for salaries equal to NBA players, not yet. But they do want equal revenue sharing of TV and arena revenue, especially with their fan base growing.
Pro tennis is better for women. All four grand slam tournaments have awarded equal prize money since 2007. The U.S. Open has done so since the 1970s. Pioneer Billie Jean King and superstar Serena Williams have changed the way we look at women in sports.
