In an emotional video message, Savannah Guthrie fought back tears as she pleaded for anyone with information to come forward. While holding on to hope that her 84-year-old mother is still alive, she also acknowledged the painful possibility that she may not be.
The new reward is in addition to the one already being offered by the FBI. Savannah also announced a $500,000 donation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children to help other families facing similar heartbreak.
Authorities continue investigating the case as a possible kidnapping.
