Investigators say the 1-year-old was discovered in her stroller Tuesday night near West 44th Street and Broadway after her parents were reportedly involved in a verbal argument on the subway. Police say they know who the father is and are tracking his last known movements as they try to determine how and why the child was left behind.
The baby was taken to the hospital to be checked out and was not hurt. Authorities say child protective services is now involved as the investigation continues.
