as posted by the channel

Good Day New York visited Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, a historic venue built in 1923 that has hosted major tennis moments and generations of music icons.

Arthur Ashe won the first men’s U.S. Open there in 1968, Billie Jean King pushed for equal prize money, and John McEnroe played there many times. The venue later became a major music destination, with The Beatles playing two sold-out shows in 1964 and Paul Simon returning to perform in his hometown.
