Last week, the story surfaced about 3-year-old Victoria Wilcher, whose family claimed she had been asked to leave a KFC in Jackson, Mississippi because other customers were bothered by the scars on the little girl's face.
Now, according to The Clarion-Ledger, the Laurel Leader-Call reports insiders involved in the investigation say no employee ever told the little girl and her grandmother to leave. In a story published online, the newspaper poked several holes in the family's story-- including the location where the alleged incident happened, and the order the grandmother said she placed.
