Named after its founders, Doris Jones and Claire Haywood, the dance school has created dance stars that have gone on to perform professionally.
FOX 5 DC spoke to the current owner, Sandra Fortune-Green, an alumnus of the school who later went on to dance professionally in the FOX Local Original. Fortune-Green alongside students, parents and teachers, opened up about the impact this school has had on their lives and how this intimate dance school has fostered life-long connections among their dance community.
