5:28Now PlayingMany professional athletes have started charitable foundations. Former U.S. Men’s National Team member Tony Sanneh has created a model of service that gives back to the community, by working with and in the neighborhoods of his hometown. Based in St. Paul, Minnesota, the Sanneh Foundation is meeting the basic needs of the communities it serves with soccer as a catalyst.
The foundation is on the front line of providing solutions to address food insecurity, safe spaces, and educational support to the most vulnerable members of the community. Headquartered at the Conway Center, the complex supports world-class sports facilities, sports camps, and year-round soccer fields for metro area teams.
