3:43Now PlayingThe University of Minnesota campus is vast. There are 250 buildings and they generate a lot of waste. Because of that, the university developed the Reuse Program to keep unwanted furniture, supplies and fixtures out of the waste stream. Instead, these items are loaded into a warehouse and twice a week the doors open for the public to shop. The best way to see what’s in the warehouse from week to week is to follow along on the University of Minnesota Reuse Program Facebook page. The warehouse is open on Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and again on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
