1:22Now PlayingThis news footage was captured after Cheryl Prokop was strangled to death in her St. Paul home on Dec. 2, 1988, while her 4-year-old daughter was home. It's been 35 years, but the case hasn't been solved.
Now, a new $10,000 reward is being offered in hopes of figuring out who killed Prokop.
"Despite decades of forensic and investigative efforts, available evidence has not led us to the person or persons responsible for Cheryl’s death," BCA Superintendent Drew Evans said. "But we’re continuing to work this case and are hopeful the reward will result in new information."
