Troopers say they attempted to stop a vehicle in the area of I-94 and Cretin Avenue in St. Paul around 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday. However, the driver took off, sparking a chase. Troopers say, during the pursuit, "the suspect vehicle collided with several vehicles, including a State Trooper squad car."
Traffic camera video shows the vehicle nearly going through the fence and over the side, which would have sent it back down onto the highway. Investigators say the suspect tried to run away on foot but was arrested a short distance away.
