Delta plane engine catches fire forcing passengers to evacuate

A Delta plane's engine caught fire prior to its departure forcing passengers to evacuate. The airport responded to the incident on X by saying the plane “experienced an engine fire while at the ramp area, prior to departure,” and that passengers were evacuated. There were no initial reports of injuries, the airline said.
