The boy's mother, Kitzia Mitre, noticed the crustacean enter his ear canal while they were swimming in open waters. They immediately sought medical attention at the hotel's doctor's office, where the crab was successfully removed.
Footage showed the small creature alive after removal, and it was quickly taken back to the beach.
