YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAn overwhelming surge of public support has raised over $1 million for an 88-year-old veteran who lost his company pension and was forced to keep working.
The funds were raised in less than 36 hours after kindness influencer Samuel Weidenhofer posted a viral video of Ed Bambas at the suburban Detroit supermarket where he works. Bambas, who retired from General Motors in 1999, said his pension was discontinued when the company went bankrupt in 2012. He had also sold his house to pay for his late wife's medical care, prompting the influencer to start the successful fundraiser.
