1:51Now PlayingA 29-year-old man was arrested after allegedly driving recklessly while pursuing another driver on a Sunday morning in a suburb of Portland, Oregon, police said.
Wild footage captured by a dashcam and a rear-facing camera in the victim’s vehicle shows portions of the incident, which occurred at around 7:30 am on Sunday, July 26, in Beaverton.
The Beaverton Police Department said Arman K Hastings was accused of swerving into oncoming lanes of traffic, intentionally cutting off the other vehicle, and driving “in reverse for over a mile while” while chasing after the victim.
“The victim, who was in his vehicle with his wife, reported that Hastings repeatedly reached toward his coat in a manner that caused the victim to believe he was reaching for a firearm,” police said.
The victim drove directly to the police station in Beaverton, where officers arrested Hastings and found a black airsoft handgun in his jacket pocket, they said.
Hastings was charged with reckless driving and menacing, police added.
