Ronald Reed is scheduled to appear before Minnesota’s Supervised Release Board on Aug. 11. The five-member board must consider 12 factors, including his conduct in prison, rehabilitation efforts, criminal history, potential risk to public safety and input from Sackett’s family, which strongly opposes his release.
