2:20Now PlayingNo arrests were made after a demonstration Saturday afternoon shut down traffic for hours on the Interstate 40 bridge in Memphis, police said.
According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), officers responded about 3:10 p.m. to the I-40 bridge and found "a large group of protesters" that was blocking traffic in both directions.
By 5 p.m., police said, traffic was moving again.
MPD said it did not make any arrests in connection to the protest on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024.
