2:55Now PlayingThe bond for a man accused of shooting a police officer last week is now facing a $500,000 bond.
22-year-old Geronimo Kee originally had a bond of $175,000 over the weekend, but it has since been increased by a Shelby County judge at the request of the District Attorney’s office.
The bonds for the people who police charged as being accessories after the fact for allegedly helping him ranged from $5,000 to $50,000.
The same charge looks different across state lines in Mississippi.
