The Leadership Academy for Development (LAD) held its first ever program in Central Asia in August 2023 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, with the support of Caps Unlock and the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE). LAD is based at the Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law at Stanford University, and offers a mid-career leadership training program using case studies and lectures focusing on private sector development.
