Her just published book Security Through Cooperation details the cooperative relations between the US and Russia from the 1990s through the early 2000s that led to a successful arms control treaty. She argues that despite the bad relations between the two countries since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2014, cooperation on nuclear issues remains critical and, under the right circumstances, still possible.
