Steve Scalise, and might have killed him had it not been for Rep. Wenstrup's military and medical training and several very lucky breaks. The media has largely downplayed this story, but if things had gone a little differently, it could have dramatically altered the balance of power in Congress by eliminating dozens of Republican members, which would have been a genuine insurrection against the elected government.
