In the wake of the Abu Ghraib scandal, the CIA was worried. That’s because the agency was in possession of something potentially even more explosive than the detainee abuse photos: videotaped “enhanced interrogations” of Abu Zubaydah, a suspected high-level Al Qaeda official, that included the use of techniques widely described as torture.
