1) I am certain that the two named individuals in this clip have NEVER read a single one of my papers and/or books. And yet, in an act of grotesque intellectual dishonesty, they feel emboldened to simply posit that it is all "nonsense." Their ignorant arrogance is truly boundless. Zero ethics. Zero integrity. Zero intellectual curiosity. They are consumed by professional envy. They represent all that is currently wrong in academia including an ability to engage ideas in a rational and dispassionate manner.
2) At the 5:10 mark, I meant to say "the effects of conspicuous consumption on testosterone" (and not vice versa) even though testosterone is likely both an antecedent and an outcome measure in such situations!
