as posted by the channelHey guys... here's my 5 week picks for week 8 but as promised below are my buddy Greg's (aka gardgreg on these posts) picks... with cute little analysis below... Good luck greg... even if you agreed with me on two picks...
1. Cowboys favored by 6.5 over the Jaguars.
It's been said time and again - this Dallas team has too much talent. And if Wade Phillips wasn't on the hot seat before, he is now. Look for Dallas to run more, giving Kitna better looks in the passing game (he'll have had a week+ to develop a rapport with a really strong receiving core), and their defense will be hungry.
Take the Cowboys.
2. Rams favored by 3 over Carolina IN St. Louis. No-brainer.
Take the Rams.
3. Oakland favored by 2.5 over Seattle at home. Seattle's run defense is stifling, so don't expect another 4 TD game from Darren McFadden. Seattle may be horrid against the pass, but the Raiders have found NO consistency with their passing game. Don't expect Campbell to overwhelm either. Bottom line, Pete Carroll is getting consistent play out of his guys.
Take the Seahawks.
4. Double your money Monday Night Special. Colts are favored by 5.5 in Indy against the Texans. Now Houston walked all over Indy earlier in the season with Arian Foster, but you have to go back EIGHT YEARS to 2002 when Indy last lost two regular season games to a divisional rival (Tennessee). Peyton will bring this one home, injury depleted roster and all.
Take the Colts.
