In this video I discuss the nerdy side of sports geography.
Note for maps: The map depicting favorite NFL teams was from before the Rams moved from St. Louis to Los Angeles. However, the NBA map that depicts the Seattle Sonics is actually fairly recent. When asked "what is your favorite NBA team", the majority of respondents in Seattle said "Sonics" even though they had moved to Oklahoma City several years earlier.
