Former Prime Minister Harold Wilson said a week is a long time in politics. Sir Edward Leigh MP looks back at 52 of them! Distinguished politician, veteran chairman of a powerful select committee, Leigh is everything a parliamentarian should be, except he's a Conservative.

Sputnik also visits the Chagos Islands with TV personality and adventurer, Ben Fogle, who champions the islanders’ rights. In 1971, the population was driven out of this British overseas territory and handed over to the US Air Force, allegedly used later for secret rendition flights. All remaining hope of the Chagos Islanders ever returning to their homes was finally dashed when the islands were declared too environmentally sensitive for the former inhabitants to return.
