Public service is a good thing. Politics can be too.

This has been our motto ever since we launched the Institute of Politics and Public Service. This year we have been celebrating our 10th anniversary, and we are more committed than ever to helping our community find ways to work through polarization and prove our motto right. Since launching in 2015, GU Politics has welcomed 117 distinguished political, public service and media leaders to our community as GU Politics Fellows. These are some of their reflections on the Institute's first decade.

General

GU Politics, or the Institute of Politics and Public Service, is a front door to politics in action. Located at the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University, our mission is to prepare students for engaging in public service through access to top practitioners and facilitating political dialogue.

Fellows:

The GU Politics Fellows Program connects students with political leaders to learn from one another and tackle some of the biggest political challenges of the day. Our Fellows are top political leaders from diverse backgrounds and have come to the Hilltop for a semester to lead discussions and share their experience with students! Meet the current fellows
