But the real issue isn’t whether or not there was a quid pro quo, but what the phrase really means in the context of this impeachment inquiry . If you define quid pro quo as "get dirt on my enemies or else," that did NOT happen. But if you think President Trump acted in the nation’s best interest by trying to find out what happened to seven BILLION American taxpayer dollars that went missing in Ukraine, then, yes, that did happen. The president was doing what he needed to do to fulfill the duties of his office, and any honest American would admit that. So, here's the message Republican leaders need to be telling the American public. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
