There are now over one million confirmed cases of coronavirus around the world, with nearly 50 thousand lives lost. In the US, there are 245,280 confirmed cases and 6,095 people have died. 12 percent of cases in America require hospitalization (on par with Italy), but in Spain, 18 percent of cases require hospitalization. President Trump says the White House is considering suggesting all Americans wear a face mask when in public (or another covering), though it wouldn't be mandatory...but some cities and towns are beyond that. For example, residents of Laredo, TX can now be fined up to $1,000 for not wearing a mask in public. Antibody tests now are being accelerated in the US, and tests might be available within a few weeks...that means anybody with the COVID-19 antibody could return to work (though human immunities are usually seasonal and do NOT mean you cannot catch the virus again). USS Naval Hospital ships have docked now in New York City and LA, but they remain empty. The USS Comfort in NYC only has 20 patients on board, and there are only 15 patients onboard the USS Mercy in Los Angeles.
