FOOD SHORTAGES ON THE WAY: Meat processing workers sick with coronavirus & it's 'going to be ugly'

Kentucky Representative Thomas Massie joins Glenn on radio to discuss the latest relief bill working its way through Congress, and Massie's recent efforts to debate the previous bill before it passed (just the CONSTITUTIONAL WAY of doing things!) But Massie also has a prediction for what's to come from this coronavirus pandemic: food shortages. Six meat processing plants in the U.S. have already closed because the plant's workers are getting sick with COVID-19. Dairy farmers are having to pour out their milk, and cattle ranchers will soon need to start burying their cows. Massie says we need to allow LOCAL processors to work with cattle farmers to sell meat within state lines to avoid a massive food shortage in the U.S. that will lead to stealing, looting, and civil unrest. He says we need to turn our economy back on and if we don't, thinks could "get ugly" by mid-summer.
