Apple recently announced it will begin scanning photos on U.S. iPhones for child abuse imagery. This could become a VERY slippery slope, Glenn says, especially in today's age of power-hungry governments that often collude with big tech. Cambridge University professor Ross Anderson is one of the loudest voices speaking out against this new technological feature, and he joins Glenn to explain why it could mean something very dangerous for our privacy moving forward. What's to stop this from being used by governments — even our own?
