But it’s just a ‘publicity stunt,’ Whitlock explains, since nearly every professional AND college coaching staff already has black coaches and staff members on the sidelines anyway. So, not only will this destroy meritocracy in sports, but Whitlock also says a quota like this one is INSULTING to all the black Americans who’ve gotten by just fine without similar assistance: ‘I don’t need CRUTCHES!’
