1:17:58Now PlayingAfter her release from Arizona Juvenile Corrections care, Deena made the decision to change her life. She got a degree in Business and planned to move forward with a career in marketing but was more interested in acting and film production. Hitting Arizona's independent film circuit acting, Deena was chosen for roles in features, shorts and local commercials. Trudy's first time on the big screen was in the 2007 Warner Bros. film Lucky You as an extra featured poker player. Her mother, an excellent poker player, taught her how to play Texas hold 'em at age 9 and would occasionally bring her along to casinos to watch the games. This knowledge caused Trudy to stand out among the other actors auditioning for a Full Tilt Poker commercial in 2011 where she was the only female player chosen for the commercial. Her skill set, knowledge of production and overall life experiences thus far have given her the tools to become one of the most unique and successful filmmakers of the 21st century. One turning point in Deena's career occurred when she co-created, produced and directed a web series, Toke N' Choke Dispensary beginning in 2013. She directed several short projects following the series and her unique perspective has intrigued audiences around the world.
Deena directed and appears in the feature film version of Toke N' Choke Dispensary with added elements of action and drama, changing the dynamic from the initial web series. Deena Trudy has come a long way from her criminal youth and is on her way to becoming one of the top new triple threat actor-director-producers to look out for in Hollywood.
