There have been survivors interviewed on GOLD SHIELDS in the past, but none quite like this!!! WILL JIMENO was a Port Authority Police Officer on
September 11, 2001, and headed down to the World Trade Center after the first plane hit the North Tower. When Will arrived he, along with Sergeant John McLoughlin, started assisting in the evacuation, when suddenly the South Tower began to collapse on top of them, trapping them beneath cement, and steel. Will was trapped and unsure if he would be rescued, or even live. He prepared himself to die, and thought of his family, but decided to fight for his life. After hours trapped and almost out of hope, two Marines arrived and located him beneath both Towers which were on top of him. Along with two members of the NYPD Emergency Service Unit and a civilian paramedic, Will was rescued after 13 hours, and shortly after that, Sgt. McLoughlin was also rescued.
This was an incredible show and experience listening to Will’s amazing, chilling story. His description of his pain, and anguish, along with his overwhelming Faith were mesmerizing to listen too. Dan and I let Will tell his story without interruption, and it was one of the most impressive story of survival we have ever heard.
DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW, IT WILL LEAVE YOU SPEECHLESS, AND INSPIRED!
